Charles Radbourn
Charles Gardner Radbourn (December 11th, 1854 - February 5th, 1897) was a player of American Baseball which played in the major Ligues of baseball between 1881 and 1891. It gained 309 parts in 11 seasons, therefore 59 (or 60) left for 12 defeats in 1884. This total (or 60 are 59) is the current record of the major Leagues of baseball. The total of victories is debatable according to the choice of reference. The July 28th 1884 Joe Miller launched for Grays de Providence, allowed 4 points and left the part trailing 4 points with 3 after 5 handles. Grays marked 4 points and Radbourn entered to the match as launcher of changing. Radbourn supplemented the part and Grays gained part 4 points with 11. According to the current payment, Miller enregisterait the victory, but according to the payment of the Années 1880, the official referee could decide who would receive the victory. This same year it launched 678 ⅔ handles - second of the history of the major leagues.
