Charles Osborne

Charles Osborne (v. 1893 - May 1st 1991), Hoquet has continuously during 68 years (1922 - 1990).

Osborne, born has Anthon, Iowa, the United States, entered the Livre Guinness of the records as a man to the longest attack of Hoquet. This last started in 1922, at intervals of 40 times per minute (the normal level is from approximately 6 per minutes), being reduced to 20, to end up stopping on June 5th, 1990 - a 68 years total. Its state also allowed him to be invited with the television programs Ripley' S Believe It gold Not! in 1936, That' S Incredible in 1980, The Tonight Show in 1983, and to belong to the questions of the board game Commonplace Pursuit.

Osborne started with hoqueter in 1922, while it cut down a pig. In spite of its condition, Osborne was able to live a normal life, including two marriages and eight children.

Osborne died of complications of the Ulcère to the Marian Health Center in the town of Sioux City in Iowa, the United States of America, on May 1st, 1991 and was buried with the cemetery of Oak Hill, in Anthon, Iowa, three days afterwards.

Osborne hoqueté about 430 million times during one 68 years period.
