Charles Nolin

Charles Nolin (1837 - January 28th 1907) was a farmer and politicking mongrel of Canada, primarily known for its opposition to the Rébellion of the North-West in 1885.

Nolin starts by supporting Louis Riel in his decision to take the weapons against the Gouvernement of Canada to defend the rights of the Mongrels, but ends up progressively changing edge of the standpoint heretics of Riel. Being opposed to Riel in 1870, it deserted in 1885: its testimony central in the death sentence of the mongrel chief.

It is presented to the station of representative of the district of Batoche to the general election of 1891 in the Territoires of the North-West, election which it will lose and where him and its partisans will be accused of fraud and corruption.
