Charles Napoleon

Charles Napoleon is a Politician French, born the October 19th 1950 with Boulogne-Billancourt (current department of the Hauts-de-Seine).

As elder of the only surviving branch of the descendants in male and legitimate line of Charles Bonaparte, connects resulting from Jerome Bonaparte, brother of the emperor Napoleon I {{er}}, it is considered by certain as chief of the imperial family.

Family

Wire of Louis Napoleon and Alix de Foresta, it is graduate in economic scenes of the Sorbonne. By her paternal grandmother the princess Clementine, he is also relative with the Belgian Royal family, but never attends the meetings of the Gotha.

He marries civilly in 1978 Beatrice of Bourbon-Sicily (president of the Prix Hugues Capet since 2003), with which he had two children:

  • Caroline, born on October 24th, 1980 and graduate of the European Business School,
  • Jean-Christophe, born on July 11th, 1986, student (it concentrates in him the two dynasties Bourbon and Bonaparte, because his/her Bourbon mother descends from Louis XIV via the branch of the Bourbons of Deux-Siciles, connects junior by the branch of Bourbon-Spain).

They divorce in 1989.

Of his second union with Jeanne-Francoise Valliccioni (born in Corsica in 1958 and adviser in human relations), Charles Napoleon had two other children:

  • Sophie, born on April 18th, 1992 in Paris,
  • Anh, born on April 22nd, 1998 with Saigon in Vietnam.

Professional path and policy

After a course in the company and the public office, it is presented for the first time to the municipal elections of March 2001. He is elected and becomes assistant with the Corsica mayor of Ajaccio in , city which saw being born Napoleon Bonaparte.

Of return in the Paris region, he announces in 2005 his intention to continue his political career with Fontainebleau. Candidate for the democratic Movement with the legislative elections of 2007 in the Second district of Seine-et-Marne (Fontainebleau-Nemours) and collects 8,76  % of the votes cast with the first turn.

In addition, Charles Napoleon is president of the European Federation of the Cities of Napoleonean History, chair Association Promouvoir the South Seine-et-Marne and member of the Federation of the Republican Reserve officers. He is also the author of several historical or political works.
