Charles Montague Cooke Jr is a American zoologist , born the December 20th 1874 with Honolulu and dead the October 29th 1948.
He is the son of Charles Montague (1849-1909) and Anna Charlotte born Rice (1853-1934). He obtains his Bachelor off Arts with the university of Yale in 1897 then his Ph.D. in 1901. It Marie the April 25th 1901 with Eliza Lefferts.
It directs, of 1920 with 1948, the foundation created by his parents, Cooke Foundation, limited. He works with the natural history museum Bishop d' Honolulu. He receives the Médaille linnéenne in 1903. The university of Hawaii allots to him an honorary doctorate in 1936.
