Charles Mendl
Sir Charles Mendl was a movie actor and diplomatic British born with London on December 14th 1871 and died in Paris on February 15th 1958.
Diplomat, it was in particular in station in Paris in the years 1920, occupying the function of press attaché of the embassy. He married in March 1926 the decorator Elsie de Wolfe (Mendl lady). The couple has starting from 1929 of an apartment in the hotel the prince Roland Bonaparte, 10 Avenue of Iéna. Sir Charles Mendl will continue to live there after the death of his first wife in 1950. He remaria and died itself in 1958.
He played of small roles in Notorious of Alfred Hitchcock (1946) and in Ivy of Sam Wood (1947).
