Charles Lightoller
Charles Herbert Lightoller (March 30th 1874 - December 8th 1952) was the 2nd officer of the RMS Titanic . It was born the March 30th 1874 with Chorley, Lancashire, England. On the Titanic , after having helped to launch the raft B, it was aspired by the floods, it went up of him even on the boat n°12 and took the command of it. Lightoller was the last to be gone up on the RMS Carpathia . He testified then before the boards of inquiry while defending to best than he could the White Star Line. He fought then with the English army until in 1918. He became second in command on the Celtic then resigned of the White Star Line. From 1929 and until in 1939 it travelled with its family in Europe. In 1940, whereas it supervised the German coasts on the request of Navy, it saved 130 British soldiers in the Bataille of Dunkirk. He died the December 8th 1952 at the 78 years age.
