Charles Joseph Colnet Of Ravel , born the December 7th 1768 with Mondrepuis (Aisne), dead the May 29th 1832, poet, French journalist and bookseller.

Man of spirit and independent mood, it succeeds especially in the satire; he published in this kind, in 1799 and 1800: End of the eighteenth century , My apology , the War of the small gods .

There is also to him a poem in 4 songs on the Art of dining downtown, where some pleasant worms are met.

Born noble, it unceasingly made opposition to the Republic and the Empire and wrote in the Gazette of France under the Restauration. It collected several of its articles of newspapers under the title of the hermit of the suburb St-Germain , 1825.
