Charles Ier of Savoy
Charles 1st of Savoy , known as the Warrior , born with Carignan on March 29th, 1468, died in Pignerol on March 13rd, 1490, was duke of Savoy, prince de Piémont, count d' Aoste and of Maurienne of 1482 with 1490, titular king of Jerusalem and of Cyprus of 1485 with 1490 and marquis de Salucces of 1487 with 1490. It was wire of Amédée {{IX}}, duke of Savoy, prince de Piémont, count d' Aoste and of Maurienne, and Yolande de France.
It began its reign under the supervision of his uncle Philippe Without Ground, count de Bresse, and had difficulties with émanciper. In 1485, it repurchased in his/her aunt Charlotte her rights on Cyprus and Jerusalem and conquered in 1487 the marquisat of Salucces.
He married the Blanche on April 1st, 1485 of Montferrat (1472 † 1519), girl of Guillaume {{VIII}}, marquis de Montferrat and de' Elisabeth Sforza. They had:
- Yolande (1487 † 1499), married in 1496 with Philibert {{II}} (1480 † 1504), duke of Savoy.
- Charles {{II}} (1488 † 1496), duke of Savoy, etc…
