Charles Ier of Portugal

Charles 1st of Portugal was born on September 28th, 1863 and died assassinated in Lisbon on February 1st, 1908. It reigned on the Portugal of 1889 with 1908.

Wire of Louis {{Ier}} and of Maria Pia of Savoy, he became king on October 10th, 1889. The Portugal during its reign is in a difficult state, the country is declared twice in bankruptcy.

May 22nd, 1886, he married Amélie of Orleans. From this union will be born:

Louis-Philippe of Portugal (1887-1908) which was assassinated with his/her father
