Charles II of Savoy

Charles II Jean Amédée of Savoy , born with Turin in 1488, died with Moncalieri in 1496, was duke of Savoy, prince de Piémont, count d' Aoste and of Maurienne, titular king of Jerusalem and of Cyprus of 1490 with 1496. It was wire of Charles Ier, duke of Savoy, prince de Piémont, count d' Aoste and of Maurienne, and White of Montferrat.

It was only two years old with died of his father and regency was ensured by his/her mother. This one had evil to be imposed upon the Savoyard lords and in particular on Philippe of Bresse. In addition, the king Charles VIII of France had to cross his states to carry out his countryside of Italy. Its death at the eight years age put an end to this period disorders and its Philippe great-uncle of Bresse succeeded to him.
