Charles II of Albret

Charles II, lord d' Albret . Born in 1415, died in 1471. Wire of Charles Ier d' Albret and of Marie de Sully. In 1417, he married Anne of Armagnac. From this union were born Jean Ier d' Albret and Jeanne II from Albret.

Presentation

He was member of the royal Council of Charles VII of France. Charles II of Albret lent his contest to Arthur de Richemont at the time of " the arrestation" of Pierre de Giac, this one was drowned by the constable of Richemont in 1427. Charles II of Albret fought at the sides of Jeanne d' Arc. Charles VII appointed it lieutenant in the Berry.
