Charles Hoffbauer

Charles Constantin Joseph Hoffbauer is a French painter born with Paris the June 28th 1875 and died in 1957.

He is in particular the author of the decoration (oil on strengthened fabric of about fifty meters length, 1932) of the Village hall of the Town hall of Arras which recalls scenes of the life of Arrageois at the 16th century, with the manner of Bruegel, of a fresco to the Château of Artigny to Montbazon for the perfumer François Coty.
