Charles Forget

Charles Forget is a painter and engraver of the 20th century born on January 26th 1886 in Paris 18th and deceased in July 1960. He lived with Paris X {{E}}, Paris XIV {{E}}, Clamart, Châtillon and Paris XV {{E}}.

He traverses the French campaigns with his rest, his material of painting and drawing with bicycle or by the train.

His/her son Jacques Forget, born in 1925, studies engraving with the École Swell, the visual arts with the Art schools in Paris.

Ultimately, it is devoted to the photography of the railroads and illustrates some books.

On the other hand its nephew Pierre FORGET devotes himself to engraving (soft size), becomes professor at the Estienne School, and designs very many postal stamps for France and of the African states.
