Charles Louis Fefferman (born on April 18th, 1949, Washington, cd., E. - U.) is a famous Mathématicien of the Université of Princeton.

It received the Médaille Fields in 1978 for its work in analysis. It in particular contributed to establish results in multidimensional complex analysis starting from generalizations of results established in complex analysis basic dimension. Charles Fefferman worked on subjects like the partial derivative equations or the Analyze of Fourier.

Fefferman is also known for its impressive precocity. There remains the youngest mathematician to be named at a post of professor in Mathématiques in a American Université with its nomination as professor of the Université of Chicago at 22 years. Charles Fefferman is regarded as a Child prodigy. He wrote its first scientific article at the 15 years age. He received his license of Physique and Mathématiques of the Université of Maryland to 17 years and his doctorate of the Université of Princeton at 20 years.

To 24 years, it is turned over to Princeton to teach as a professor of Mathématiques. It still currently occupies this station.
