Charles Evans is a character of the universe of fiction of Star Trek , and more particularly of the series Star Trek, the traditional series , interpreted by the actor Robert Walker Jr..

Biography

The shuttle which transports Charles Evans crushes, into 2252, on Thasus. Three years old at the time of the accident, it owes its survival only with the intervention of the Thasien S which give him extremely wide capacities of telekinesis. It is probably also able of a little Télépathie.

Evans remains on Thasus during more than thirteen years with being helped by the US Antares .

An unsuited being

These years of loneliness and puberty disturb it considerably. Incompetent to await, admit a failure or a contradiction, having a visceral need to be liked, Charles Evans uses his capacities to protect himself but in a brutal and cruel way.

Curious about all, it is impassioned for the life on board the Enterprise .

An impossible love

When it arrives on board the '' Enterprise '' into 2266, it falls passionately in love with the first woman whom he meets, Janice Rand. This one does not return its affection to him and the price will pay some.

A captive future

In 2266, when Thasiens come on board the Enterprise to bring back it with them on Alpha V, he begs James Kirk to keep it with him. Charles Evans explains the terrible life with Thasiens, beings immaterial and deprived of emotion. But finally, in front of the danger represented by capacities also misused, Kirk ends up letting it leave (see Star Trek : Charlie X ).
