Charles Conrad Abbott is a archeologist and a American Naturaliste , born the June 4th 1843 with Trenton in the New Jersey and dead the July 27th 1919 with Bristol (Pennsylvania).

He is the son of Timothy and Susan Conrad Abbott. He is the grandson of Solomon White Conrad (1779-1831), which teaches mineralogy and botany with the Université of Pennsylvania. He very early treats a great passion for nature, particularly the Oiseau X and the Mammifère S. He begins his studies in Trenton Academy then studies the Médecine with the Université of Pennsylvania, obtaining a title of doctor in 1865. Abbott serves as surgeon in the federate Armée during the American Civil War. In 1867, it Marie with Julia Olden, union of which will be born three children.
