Charles Chubb is a British ornithologist , born the December 31st 1851 with Steeple Langford, close to Salisbury and dead the June 25th 1924 with London.
It enters in 1877 to the British Museum.
It makes appear off The Birds British Guiana (2 volumes, 1916 and 1921) starting from the collections made during the forwarding of Frederick Vavasour McConnell (1868-1914). With the ornithologist William Wyndham Wentworth Knatchbull-Hugessen, 3rd baron de Brabourne (1885-1915), they make appear off The Birds South America .
It is victim of an car accident and dies, two weeks later, without to have begun again knowledge.
His/her son, Ernest Charles Chubb (1884-1972), is also an ornithologist and conservative of the Natural history museum of Durban in South Africa.
