Charles Brifaut
Charles Brifaut , born the February 15th 1781 with Dijon and died in 1857 with Paris, is a poet, publicity agent and dramatic author French.
Liberal royalist journalist, he is writer with the Gazette of France and attends the living room of Mrs Vigée-Lebrun. He is also critic: it is him which is charged by the Minister of Interior Department controlling Hernani and with informing Victor Hugo that Marion Delorme is stopped; the part will be played only two years later. Pensioned by Charles X, he is elected member of the French Academy in 1826.
He would have been associated with the drafting memories of the actress Lola Montès, who was one of the amantes of Alexandre Dumas ( Aventures of the famous dancer told by itself , 1847).
