Charles Brennus

Charles Brennus was born with Châteaudun the November 30th 1859, and died in the Mans the December 23rd 1943. Its true name is Brennus Ambriorix Crosnier. He followed the occupation of Master engraver, and was the Honorary president of the French federation of Rugby in 1921. He made take form with his shield (see Bouclier of Brennus) thanks to an initial drawing of the baron Pierre de Coubertin, then secretary of the Union of the French companies of athletic sports (USFSA), in 1892. Itself chaired the commission of Rugby of the USFSA lasting more than one quarter century, until in 1919. For this reason, it dealt with the practical organization of the matches of Rugby on the French territory, and managed the team of France. It was called " The Brennus" Father; by the leaders and supporters of clubs.
He was also the founder of SCUF.
