Charles Boyer

Charles Boyer (born the August 28th 1897 with Figeac (Batch) and deceased the August 26th 1978), was a Acteur French.

After having made the academy, Charles Boyer begins his career with the Théâtre, but it is in Europe and with Hollywood that he will be his greater successes like young first during the Twenties and Thirties. The largest actresses of its time were its partners: Greta Garbo ( Marie Walewska ), Marlène Dietrich ( the Garden of Allah ), Danielle Darrieux ( Mayerling ), Irene Dune (Affair/It and it Coil). It will still continue to have roles until its death but with a less success.

In 1948, it is made knight of the Légion of honor.

It committed suicide two days after the death of his wife, Pat Paterson, of the continuations of a cancer… and two days before celebrating its quatre-vingt-unième birthday.
