Charles Bonami

Charles Bonami is a French historian. He was born in 1908 and is deceased in 1987.

Born with Ceilhes, it started a career with postal and telecommunications authorities, then became after the Second world war member of the central Council of rtf. It took its retirement in 1968 and was devoted with meticulousness and passion to the study of the history of its native village. One owes him several articles of a great scholarship treating of the former seigneuriales families (in particular the Rosset de Rocozels of Fleury) and of the church Saint Jean-Baptiste de Ceilhes.

Married in 1932 in Fernande Alvernhe, it had two children: Ginette and Robert.

Knight of the postal merit, it was also made Officier of the Légion of honor.
