Charles Beuchat
Charles Beuchat is a man of letters, Professor and Critique arts person born the July 18th 1900 with Soulce, deceased the May 15th 1981 with Porrentruy, in Suisse.
Formed with traditional humanities with the College St-Charles with Porrentruy, Saint-Maurice and Sarnen, he undertakes as of 1921 of academic works, initially with Lyon, then with Paris. Holder of a license in right and letters, doctor in Sorbonne, he is the author of two theses devoted to “Edouard Rod and the cosmopolitanism” and to “the contemporary Review”. Appointed professor at the cantonal school of Porrentruy in 1935, it does not remain about it less in close contact with the French capital of which it attends of familiar the literary circles where he attends Blaise Cendrars, Georges Clémenceau, Anatole France or Henri Michaux, like it describes it in " Paris nevertheless " , one little book of memories.
He assumed the literary chronicle several newspapers of which the Gazette of Lausanne, the Journal of Geneva, Tribune de Genève and the Democrat.
