Charles Berdellé
Charles Berdellé is a author Alsacien born the January 2nd 1834 with Haguenau - died the January 12th 1917, with Rioz.
He worked in the service of National Forestry Commission until 1867, before dealing with the mill of his family and his grounds. From 1871 to 1917, it was withdrawn in the High Saone.
Charles Berdellé is known for his parts of country inspiration, however not very realistic.
" Im Hirtejerri sin verborjener Schatz" one speaks much marriage and money, in a small moral fable which one could summarize in two words: Money does not create happiness, but if one has some moreover, so much better!
Works
Though author of parts explicitly written in Niederelsässer, or about of spoken about Kochersberg, Charles Berdellé, is also a translator in French since literary German of the Guillaume Tell of Schiller, and of the dialectical writings of Mangold, Johann-Georg-Daniel Arnold, Ehrenfried Stoeber, Hartmann, Bernhard and Kettner. It also contributed in many articles in of Alsace reviews.
