Charles Augustus Young
Charles Augustus Young (December 15th 1834 – January 3rd 1908) was a American Astronome.
He was graduate Dartmouth College then became professor in there 1865, remaining there until in 1877 before going to Princeton.
He observed the solar eclipses and worked on the solar Spectroscopie .
He was teaching distinguished. He wrote a series of works of Astronomie popular and largely used, of which Manual off Astronomy . Several years later, in 1927, when Henry Norris Russell, Raymond Smith Dugan and John Quincy Stewart wrote their own work in two volumes, they entitled it Astronomy: With Revision off Young' S Manual off Astronomy .
