Charles Antony Richard Hoare
Sir Charles Antony Richard Hoare (generally called Tony Hoare or C.A.R. Hoare ), born the January 11th 1934 with Colombo, Sri Lanka, is a highly skilled Professor British of the Oxford University Computing Laboratory .
It is known to have invented Quicksort in 1960, a fast Algorithme of sorting, still very much used nowadays.
Hoare is also at the origin of the Logique of Hoare, the formal Language CSP and inspired the Computer programming language Occam as well as a system of synchronization called monitor.
He was prize winner of the Prix of Kyōto in 2000.
