Charles Amédée Philippe van Loo
Charles Amédée Philippe van Loo (August 25th 1719 - November 15th 1795) was a painter French specialist in the allegorical scenes and Portrait S.
He studied painting near his father Jean-Baptiste van Loo with Turin and Rome. In 1738 it obtained the Prix of Rome, then after a passage to Aix-en-Provence it settled with Paris in 1745. In 1747 it was allowed with the Royal Académie of Painting and Sculpture. The same year it Maria with her cousin Marie-Marguerite Lebrun girl of the painter Michel Lebrun.
Two of his/her brothers were also painters: François van Loo (1708 - 1732) and Louis Michel van Loo (1707 - 1771).
