Charles-Philippe de Chennevières-Pointel

Charles-Philippe, marquis de Chennevières-Pointel , known as Jean de Falaise , born with Cliff the July 23rd 1820 and dead on April 1st 1899, is a historian of art and writer French.

Chennevières was inspector of the museums of province in 1852, general inspector of the exposures of art, director of the fine arts of 1873 with 1878 and purchaser of the priory of Saint-Santin to Bellême.

He wrote tales under the name of Jean de Falaise and of Mr. de Saint-Santin . He also wrote under the name of feather of François Marie de Boussardière .
