Charles-Pendrell Waddington , born the June 19th 1819 with Milan and dead the March 18th 1914 with Saint-Georges-Buttavent, is a Philosophe French, cousin of Richard and William H. Waddington.

Biography

Charles Tzaunt Waddington is the son of William Pendrell Waddington and Jeanne Marie Pauline Tzaunt, married in the temple Protesting of the street Saint-Honore in 1818.

Its Protestant family is of English origin. His/her father is naturalized French on March 11th 1818 and its death certificate, on March 6th 1821 with Rome, was transcribed in the civil statue of Saint-Rémy-on-Avre.

Graduate of the National university at 19 years, it composes his complementary thesis in Latin on the Life and the writings of Ramus (1848).

He is professor with the Faculty of Arts of Paris and with the Louis-the-Large college at the time of his marriage, on December 7th 1853 with Saint-Georges-Buttavent with Marie Denis, girl of Martin Denis, affiliated with the family Denis.

He taught in various institutions like the protesting Seminar of Strasbourg, the Louis-the-Large college , and the Sorbonne, where he is in 1879 appointed professor of old philosophy.

He is member of the Academy of Science morals and political in 1888, with the armchair of Elme-Marie Caro. Professor with the Sorbonne and academician, it will incite many personalities to come to admire the precocity of the school of Fountain-Daniel, founded in 1833 per Mrs Horem and rebuilt under the aegis of Gustave Denis in 1862.

He had a son, Albert (1861 - 1926), university lecturer with the Faculty of Arts of Lyon.
