Charles-Henri Favrod

Charles-Henri Favrod is a Journaliste Suisse born the April 21st 1927 with Montreux.

After studies of letters to the University of Lausanne, it enters to the Gazette of Lausanne from which it becomes international reporter and critical to the weekly supplement the literary Gazette . He also collaborates in the Radio French-speaking Switzerland.

He is then director of collection to the Éditions Meets, where he deals with the series of the Atlases of the Voyages and the encyclopedia by cards mpde (Encyclopedia of the current world).

In 1985, it charged by the Canton with Vaud with creating the museum of photography with Lausanne. Under the name of Museum of the Elysium, this museum will become universally known. Charles-Henri Favrod will be the director until in 1996.
