Charles-Eugene Butcher of Boucherville

honourable the Charles-Eugene Boucher of Boucherville (May 4th 1822 - September 10th 1915) was a Médecin and Politician Québécois.
Born with Montreal, it is Député with the Room of assembly of the Canada-Plain of 1861 with 1867, then to advise legislative province of Quebec of 1867 with its death. It was also Canadian senator of 1879 to its death. It was used twice as preserving Prime Minister of the province as Quebec.
To stop of Boucherville becomes Prime Minister in 1874 when its predecessor, Gédéon Ouimet, must resign because of an accounting scandal. It gains then the Québécois election of 1875, but is dislocated of its functions the March 8th 1878, in a conflict with the lieutenant-governor Luc Letellier de Saint-Just. Letellier of Saint-Just refused to approve a law having been voted by the two rooms of the Québécois legislature which would have forced the municipalities to pay for the construction of railroads. The lieutenant-governor deposits Boucher of Boucherville, and called upon the chief of the opposition, Henri-Gustave Jolly de Lotbinière, to form a government.
In 1879, Boucher of Boucherville is named with the Sénat of Canada, where it represents the senatorial division of Montarville under the banner of the Conservative party until his death in 1915.
The second mandate of Stopping of Boucherville occurs after Honore Mercier is dislocated of his functions by the lieutenant-governor Auguste-Réal Angers the December 16th 1891 on accusations of corruption. Draper will be bleached later.
After the preserving chief Louis-Olivier Taillon had lost the election of 1890 like his own district, Jean Blanchet takes the post of head of the Conservative opposition to the Mercier government. Strainer, however, resigns the September 19th 1891 to be appointed judge. The lieutenant-governor thus needs a conservative to fill the station of Prime Minister, and turns to Boucher of Boucherville, then to advise legislative.
To stop of Boucherville serves one year, but resigns when the former preserving Prime Minister Joseph-Adolphe Chapleau is named as lieutenant-governor in December 1892. The relations between the two men were tended. He dies in Montreal in 1915.
