Charles-Armand of Red (August 28th 1918 - ParisDied for France the June 10th 1940 - Castle-Thierry - buried with the Necropolis Main road " Chesneaux " (fall individual - row 1378), Castle-Thierry), Vicomte of Rougé

Whereas it was very young Aspirant, it went voluntary to organize the defense of a strategic military point: the bridge of Castle-Thierry on the the Marne. After having resisted successfully the head of its Tanks, it was killed by a sniper. Its exemplary behavior made it possible to protect the retirement from many civilians and soldiers. The bridge which it defended is called “suction Pont of Red” since the end of the war.
