Charles-Élie of Tool bags, born with Poitiers in January 1741 and dead the July 30th 1804, is a politician and French man of letters.

He was appointed of the nobility of the seneschalsy of Saumur to the General states and general adviser of the Vienna.

  • Of the State of the letters in Poitou, since year 300 of the Christian era until the year 1789. Lu with the college of sciences and arts established in Poitiers (1799)
  • Memories of the marquis de Ferrières, with a note on its life, of the notes and the historical éclaircissemens (1821-1822)
