Chardonnay is a common French located in Haut-Mâconnais in the department of Saône-et-Loire (Canton of Lugny) and the area Burgundy.
Geography
Located between Lugny and Tournus, this village of the Haut-Mâconnais is probably the cradle of the Chardonnay (type of vine) (see Vigne).
This Cépage produces largest Vin S white, in particular the Burgundy Chablis , Meursault , Montrachet , etc Très widespread, it is appreciated in the whole world, in particular in Italy, with the the United States, in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Suisse.
