Main characters

Ataru Moroboshi

Nom in the French version of animates: Ronnie

High-school pupil inveterate womanizer but success, Ataru finds himself well in spite of him been engaged to Lamu. He attracts the bad luck and although rather lazy, he shows a great will when it is a question of alluring a pretty girl.

Lum

Nom in the French version of animates: Lamu

Lamu is a ogress, it can fly (like all those of its race) and launch electric flashes. It is in love with Ataru, which after a misunderstanding became its been engaged, and is of a morbid jealousy.

Shūtaro Mendō

Classmate of Ataru, it is all the opposite. Resulting from a traditional rich family, it is adulated by the girls and fights constantly with Aturu.

Shinobu Miyake

Nom in the French version of animates: Gaëlle

Before the arrival of Lamu, it was about to be the boyfriend of Ataru. She is very jealous and is equipped with a superhuman force when she is in anger what enables him to launch any kind of objects on the person concerned.

Human supporting characters

Ryūnosuke Fujinami

In spite of a male prénon, Ryuunosuke is a girl. His/her father, widower, wanted a boy and educated it in this direction. But even if it behaved like a boy, its femininity starts to wake up against the will of his/her father.

Sakura

It is a Shinto priestess. She is nurse with the College of Tomoboki.

Sakuranbō (Cherry)

Buddhist priest and uncle de Sakura, it is generally heralding bad news especially for Ataru.

Mr. Onsen

Mr. Onsen is the main teacher of the class 2-4 which includes/understands the worst pupils of the college.

Benten

Benten is old a classmate of Lamu and Oyuki. It is a cosmic goddess.

Oyuki

Oyuki is old a classmate of Lamu and Benten. It is a Princess of snows. She controls the cold and is of a calm naturalness but one should not therefore putting it at back.

Ran

It is a friend of childhood of Lamu and Rei. It is in love with this last and always seeks to be avenged for Lamu which him because much of troubles in its childhood. Of an appearance calms and is irritated easily and used a whole arsenal to fight.

Rei

It is a friend of childhood of Lamu and Ren. It is same race that Lamu and in is in love whereas it is not reciprocal. He has a great appetite and is not very smart. When it is in anger, it is transformed into a kind of bull/tiger whereas its normal appearance is tempting.

Jariten (Ten)

Nom in the French version of animates: Mosquito

Small cousin of Lamu, it flies slowly (considering its young age) and spits of fire. The women see in him only one little boy whereas it with the spirit of a woman-chaser.
