Chaoyang (朝阳; Pinyin: Cháoyáng) is a city of the south-west of the province of the Liaoning in China.

Climate

The average temperatures of Chaoyang go from -9,9°C for the coldest month to +24,9°C for the hottest month, with an annual average of +8,8°C, and the Pluviométrie is there of 507,1  mm (figures stopped in 1990).

Administrative divisions

The city-prefecture of Chaoyang exerts its jurisdiction on seven subdivisions - two districts, two city-counties, two counties and a autonomous county  :

• the district of Shuangta - 双塔区 Shuāngtǎ Qū   ;
• the district of Longcheng - 龙城区 Lóngchéng Qū   ;
• the town of Beipiao - 北票市 Běipiào Shì   ;
• the town of Lingyuan - 凌源市 Língyuán Shì   ;
• the county of Chaoyang - 朝阳县 Cháoyáng Xiàn   ;
• the county of Jianping - 建平县 Jiànpíng Xiàn   ;
• the left Mongolian autonomous county of Harqin - 喀喇沁左翼蒙古族自治县 Kālāqìn zuǒyì měnggǔzú Zìzhìxiàn .
