Chaos (religion)

In the tradition Judeo-Christian, the chaos is a vague state and vacuum of the ground before the creative intervention of God. By amalgam with the Greek concept, it represents initial, undifferentiated and abstract confusion of the matter and the elements, former to the organization of the world by the intervention of God.
