Chanteuges is a common French, located in the department of the Haute-Loire and the area Auvergne.
Geography
History
At the end of a “messa” (table) of volcanic casting, to 540 Mr. of altitude draws up the Benedictine abbey of Chanteuges, with feet the village and his “calades”. During the Revolution, the abbey and its goods were sold like national goods. Today, Chanteuges shelters the greatest salmon breeding of repopulation of Europe.

- Chanteuges has a very beautiful church dating from the middle of the 12th century with a beautiful cloister. The church is perched on a basaltic spur.
