Chantereine
Chantereine is a river French born from streamings on the hills of Vaujours.
It runs out in direction of south-east, bathes Husk-on-Chantereine, then joined Right Bank of the Marne. Passing close to Chelles, it was for a long time called “the brook of Chelles”. It gains the Marne in two arms: one with its mouth, opposite Gournay-sur-Marne, the other in front of City-Évrard. Its mouth is located at thirty-five meters of altitude after a thirteen kilometers length course. Broad thirty, it four meters drains a basin of two thousand six hundred and eighty hectares. Before its drain, it had a flow between seventy and a hundred and fifty liters a second.
