Channel with summit pond

A channel with Summit pond connects two valleys by crossing Crete to the level of this level particulier.
It often bears the name of the two rivers connected.

On the level of the summit pond it must be fed out of water by stoppings tanks or pumping. The channel of the South is fed partly by the tanks of the Black Montagne, the Canal of Aisne in the Marne is fed by a pumping in the Marne.
