The Channel of Voorne (in Dutch: Kanaal door Voorne ), is a channel, dug in 1830. The channel connects the Haringvliet to Hellevoetsluis with the port of Rotterdam close to the village disappeared from Nieuwesluis. The channel crosses into two the old island of Voorne and the polder of Nieuwenhoorn.

At the 19th century, it was one of the principal connections between the the North Sea and the wearing of Rotterdam. With the increase in the size of the ships, the channel became too small to accommodate them; with the completion of the Nieuwe Waterweg in 1872, the channel lost any function for the maritime transport.

Nowadays, few boats still use this channel. The bridges are fixed and close to water, and in Hellevoetsluis one built a Shopping mall above the channel.
