Channel of Piombino

The Canal of Piombino is a Détroit located between the seas Ligure and Tyrrhénienne. Broad from approximately 10 km, it separates Piombino, in continental Toscane, of the Cape della Vita , north-eastern point of the isle of Elba. It included three small islands:

• the island dei Topi ;
• the island Palmaiola ;
• the island Cerboli .
