Championships of the world junior of athletics
The Championnats of the world junior of athletics are the bi-annual competition organized by the IAAF which designates a world champion Junior for each discipline of the Athlétisme.
They take place every 2 years since 1986, Xe edition was held with Grosseto (Italy), of the 13 with the July 17th 2004 and XIe with Beijing (China) of the 15 with the August 20th 2006. 682 young men and 581 young women took part in Xe edition.
The Life edition took place with Sydney in 1996 and VIIe edition with Annecy in 1998.
