The championships of the French-speaking world of Scrabble were launched by Hippolyte Wouters in 1972. It created the formula duplicate by arbitrating a traditional part “” between two friends. Categories of age
Since 1977, the championship of the world of Scrabble created various categories of age to encourage Scrabble in the children and the young people. Claude LED was the first world champion junior in 1977. For this year, four other categories have been created.
Antonin Michel holds all the records, six times champion of the category “juniors” and twice world champion junior. In 1995 the first championship of the vermilion world was introduced, followed championship of the world diamond in 2003.
