The Championnat of Luxembourg of cycling on road was created in 1922.
An evolutionary organization
The test was organized with the Championships of Germany and Switzerland of 1974 to 1986 and 1989 to 1994.Editions 1936,1955,1956,1958,1963 to 1973,1987 and 1988 were the subject of a against-the-watch.
The title was not allotted of 1991 to 1995.
