Championships of Europe of karate 1966
The championships of the world of karate 1966 took place with Paris, in France, the May 7th 1966. It was about the very first edition of the Championnats of Europe of karate senior. On the whole, six countries of the world took part in the two tests of Kumite to the program.

Of the six participating countries, only three gained at least a medal. But both gold medals concerned return to the France, country host.
