The Championnat of the world of the sport scars 1980 is the 28e season of the Championnat of the world of the sport scars (WSC) TRUSTED, also known under the name of Championnat of the world of endurance . It is opened with the cars Groupe 6, Groupe 5 and IMSA GTX, although none of these cars was included in the championship manufacturer WSC. The points are distributed to the 10 first of each race in the otdre of arrival of 20-15-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1 points, with some exceptions:

the manufacturers receive the points that of their car best classified, the other cars not marking any point, however the points are allotted to the pilots of these cars.
the pilot and the manufacturers do not mark points if they do not achieve 90% of the distance from the winner.
