Championship of the world of the sport scars 1968

The Championnat of the world of the sport scars 1968 is the 16th season of the Championnat of the world of the sport scars (WSC) TRUSTED. It is opened with the cars Sport-Prototypes for the categories S (Sports) and P (Prototype) and with the Grand Tourism for the WP category. This championship was run of the February 3rd 1968 to the September 29th 1968, including/understanding 10 races.

† - Race accepting that cars of Sport-Prototypes, the WP not taking part. ‡ - the 24 hours of Mans were initially programmed to run the 15 and June 16th, but were moved back in the calendar because of the general strikes in France.

Attribution of the points

The points are distributed to the 6 first of each race in the order of arrival of 9-6-4-3-2-1 points.

the manufacturers receive the points that of their car best classified, the other cars of the manufacturers not marking any point.

There are two classifications, a first for all the categories and a second for the category WP uniquement.
The cars which take part in the races which do not make parts of the categories S (Sport), P (Prototypes) or WP (Great Tourism) are not registered with the championnat.
Only the 5 best results are entered for the championship. The other points obtained do not count and are registered in Italic .

The WP category did not take part in 3rd and 9th handle. Only the 5 best results are retained popur the championship.
