Championship of the world of the sport scars 1962

The Championnat of the world of the sport scars 1962 is the 10th season of the Championnat of the world of the sport scars (WSC) TRUSTED. It is reserved for the sport scars which will run throughout the world in races of endurance, and for the first time at the cars of Grand Tourism. It was run of the February 11th 1962 to the October 21st 1962, including/understanding 15 races.

It is also the first year that each category and subcategory have their own championship, instead of a single championship of the manufacturers.

Calendar

Although composed of 15 races, all the categories did not compete with in all the events. Some races were reserved for a category, whereas others were combined. † - the sport scars took part in this race, but under a known category under the name of experimental, meaning that they did not mark of point to the championship of the manufacturers.

Attribution of the points

The points are distributed to the 6 first of each race in the order of 9-6-4-3-2-1.
The manufacturers receive the points that of their car best classified, the other cars of the same manufacturer not marking any point.
