The Championnat of the female world of handball 2003 took place of the December 2nd to the December 14th 2003, in Croatia. It was the 16th edition of this test.

The first 3 teams of each hen are qualified for a second round in 2 hens.
The teams first and second of these hens of the 2nd turn meet in semi-finals croisées.
